NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah isn’t just about the games, three-pointers and slam dunks. Off the court, players are making a different kind of slam dunk in the community.
The National Basketball Association on Saturday teamed up with local food banks to fight hunger for the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service.
Former and present N.B.A. players, joined with teams from the Utah Food Bank and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to pack up food boxes for Utah families.
