Wednesday Night the Atlanta Hawks hosted the New York Knicks at State Farm Arena in Atlanta for their final game before the 2023 NBA All-Star break.
Wednesday’s contest against the Knicks was also the fourth and final time these two clubs will meet in the 2022-23 regular season. The Knicks took this contest 122-101 to split the season series 2-2.
De’Andre Hunter tonight played 29 minutes and had 20 points on the board. He had four rebounds and three assists.
Trae Young tonight played 32 minutes and had 19 points on the board. He had one rebound and eleven assists.
Young had two steals in tonight’s opening quarter, marking the 21st quarter of his career with at least two thefts, and he has recorded at least one steal in eight straight games, the third-longest such steal streak of his career.
Also, tonight was Young’s 159th 10+ assist outing of his career,
With 101 points on the board tonight, the Hawks have now scored 100-or-more points in 34 straight games.
Following the break, the Hawks will return to State Farm Arena for a four-game homestand beginning on Friday, February 24, against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
